Overdue

I’ve been waaaaaaay too busy lately… my new job does not leave me much time to kick back and relax (or think up posts!). So while the bit of bad news is that my original hope of getting in every office outfit on here won’t be happening, the good news is that I’ll have longer posts and I’ll be able to focus on one or two fabulous looks every week. Quality over quantity, am I right?

I’m also debating branching out my blog to be a bit more of everything I love to do… clothes, makeup basics, food, baby, home, etc. What’s happened over time is that I have two blogs, and neither one gets quite enough posts for my liking. If I do go that route, you’ll be the first to know.

Now onto my latest outfit!!

A Classy Leave-Taking

Today was my last day with my current team; on Tuesday I will start a new job on a new team. I’m staying in the same organization, within the same overall group even, which means there will be times when I will see my old team again.

I wanted to have my “final impression” so to speak be classy but comfy, and I think I pulled it off. It’s one of the only outfits I’ve put together without using the StyleBook app in the past year, and I’m super proud of that.

Booties and Blues

Ok, let’s settle it. Turquoise can be BOTH blue and green! I’ve seen so many shades, and every time I ask anyone whether it’s more blue-ish or closer to green, I end up with a different answer. So I won’t say that it’s bluey-green (to imply that it’s more blue) or greenish-blue to imply the opposite. It’s got a range of shades ok?

What do you mean I’m the only one who really cares? It’s a thing ok?

Guys?

There are 9 bangles in the set my grandmother gave me. She passed away just over two years ago, and each one reminds of her in different ways. See the thicker bangle? The one with the goats? The city hall building back home is about 10 minutes walking from my grandparents place, and every hour, a pair of goats pop out with the clockwork to butt heads.

Can anyone guess my hometown from this tidbit?

Here’s the outfit in my trusty StyleBook app!

Just Another Monday

Hello lovelies!!

Don’t weekends just seem to fly right by? You blink and hey, it’s Sunday night, you should probably prep your lunch for tomorrow…

Anyone else up for a permanent 3-day weekend??

Anyone?

Mondays being usually blah, I opted for some colour and a fun pattern for today.

Another Chilly Friday

Thank goodness it’s Friday!!!

It’s been that kind of week, and the weather has gone back to being cold and dreary, so I decided on a more comfy and cozy outfit for my Friday at the office.
